DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO SOLVANG:

From Southern California: Take Highway-101 North to Highway-246 (at Buellton), turn right for three miles. From Northern California: Take Highway-101 South to Highway-246 (at Buellton), turn left for three miles.

Directions: Just two and one half hours from Los Angeles and five hours from the San Francisco Bay Area, Solvang is easily reached from Highway 101 at the Highway 246 turnoff in Buellton. From Santa Barbara, visitors can also take Highway 154 to the Highway 246 turnoff. Private aircraft are also welcome at nearby Santa Ynez Airport. Solvang is also accessible by AMTRAK, which stops in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo connecting with bus service to Solvang; call 800-USA-RAIL. Greyhound buses stop daily in Buellton.
